PuriMagTM PrepSil, silica - based superparamagnetic particles are Fe3O4 magnetic beads coated with silica (SiO2). They are specifically designed for the extraction and purification of DNA/RNA and have characteristics such as fast magnetic response, good suspension, stability, and high specific surface area. These magnetic particles can specifically bind to DNA/RNA in the solution through hydrophobic, hydrogen - bonding, and electrostatic forces under high - salt and low - pH conditions, without binding to other impurities (such as proteins, salts, small molecules). Finally, nucleic acids are eluted under high - pH conditions, so as to achieve the rapid separation of DNA/RNA from biological samples. When combined with an automated nucleic acid extractor, high - throughput and automated nucleic acid extraction can be realized. They can be used for the purification of plasmid DNA for transfection or sequencing applications, the purification of genomic DNA for research or clinical applications, the purification of RNA for qPCR analysis, or the purification of PCR products for downstream analysis.

■ Application

? Store the magnetic beads in deionized water. Freezing, drying, and centrifugation may affect the performance of the magnetic beads.
? It is normal for the magnetic beads to settle due to gravity. Before using this product, make sure to shake or sonicate it thoroughly to keep the magnetic beads in a uniformly suspended state.
